Unfortunately, in the UK, Men are 3 times less likely to seek therapeutic support than women and are 3 times more likely to die by suicide. The stigma attached to seeking support is killing men; how we reframe that can save a life - So, if we want to address the pink elephant in the room, we must change our approach to it.
In this short presentation, Mentell offers a powerful reframe that flips the conversation on its head by switching the focus from men's mental health to a metaphor of a man with a bag - the message is simple, drop the labels and normalise life struggles.
